2021 Will Rein In YAML: 2021 Predictions By Nobl9

0

Kit Merker, COO of Nobl9 shares his predictions for 2021. According to Merker:

  • 2021 will be the year that we rein in YAML as the tooling and automation will finally catch up with the promises made over the years. YAML will become the desired format for computers even if it’s not a great language for programming.
  • Infrastructure will become more opinionated. People will want the ease of use even at the cost of constraining themselves with more opinionated systems
  • Events will embrace a hybrid model in 2021 as they will not attract much physical attendance so marketing teams will try to find ways to engage with people on-site and remotely.
