Complexity is a key challenge for Kubernetes and many people are looking for a way to consume it easily. While Cloud Foundry has provided a platform-based solution in the VM space for years, they are now focusing on the need for the engineering community within Kubernetes to have a Cloud-Foundry-like interface to help tackle the complexity. Ram Iyengar, Chief Evangelist at the Cloud Foundry Foundation (CFF), says, “People want a lot of the things around the periphery of Kubernetes to be made available without a lot of effort.”
