CIQ has announced an expansion of their partnership with Google Cloud, introducing new solutions for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) tailored for highly regulated industries that have achieved Google Cloud Ready — Distributed Cloud designation. Customers with heightened security needs can now deploy securely with Rocky Linux environments provided by CIQ for GDC. Announced at Google Cloud Next ’24, these new offerings reflect CIQ leadership in highly secure, next-generation software infrastructure amidst a remarkable 500% surge in adoption of CIQ cloud solutions over the past year.

Google Distributed Cloud enables customers to build, deploy, and scale modern industry and public sector applications on-premises with AI-ready, modern infrastructure, ensuring data security and enabling agile developer workflows across edge locations and data centers.

The new GDC-enabled program works with partners to validate their solutions by tuning and enhancing existing integrations and features to better support customer use cases, which can help customers identify software solutions that are compatible with GDC more quickly.

Colin VanderSmith, vice president of product management at CIQ, said: “Our collaboration with Google Cloud delivers the fortified infrastructure required by U.S. Government Agencies for cloud deployments, benefitting our regulated Enterprise customers across many industries, including Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing. Together, we are setting new standards for security, compliance, and workload performance including AI, ML, and Data Analytics.”
