Data lake engine company Dremio has hired Jason Nadeau to lead its global marketing team. Most recently, Jason served as VP of Product Marketing for Pure Storage.

Jason brings more than two decades of marketing, product management, and pre-sales experience in enterprise software and hardware across multiple domains. At Pure Storage, he is said to have created its highly differentiated Evergreen Storage model of consumption while helping grow the company’s revenues nearly 10X over five years.

Prior to that, Jason was VP of Product Management at Hewlett-Packard (Software), and held leadership roles in product management at Symantec and Veritas.

“Dremio has demonstrated strong leadership in the open source and data analytics communities and I look forward to working with the executive team and the sales and product development organization…,” quipped Jason.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
