Joey D’Antoni, Senior Consultant and Microsoft Data Platform MVP, SIOS Technology Corp., is presenting a talk and participating in a panel at the SIOS Cloud Availability Symposium. His talk will focus on high availability with databases and containers.

In his talk, he will take a look at what containers are and how they are used, particularly with SQL server. “We will take a look at how it can be used to provide high availability for a SQL server environment, even across things like patch upgrades or hardware outages and those sorts of scenarios,” says D’Antoni.

He will also be participating in a panel that will provide an overview of high availability options for SQL server and problems people face in the field.
