Humio has joined IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management to make its advanced log management platform available as an out-of-the-box service for IBM Cloud customers. As the company puts it, IBM Cloud Pak helps enterprises move core business applications to any cloud in a secure way.

Running on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, the IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management is said to offer consistent visibility, governance and automation from on premises to the edge. Enterprises gain capabilities such as multicluster management, event management, application management and infrastructure management.

IBM’s data visualization and ability to select, organize and analyze all of your data on one platform enhanced with the addition of Humio’s streaming data analytics gives users real-time visibility across all systems, equipment, and applications for greater security and quicker root-cause analysis and incident response times, the company said.

It also implies more efficient use of infrastructure and computing resources with a competitive cost structure to allow organizations to log everything without worry, it added.
