The manual processes that might’ve worked when you’re just exploring and getting up and running no longer work at scale when you have either lots of applications, complex infrastructure architectures, a larger team and a lot of people who need to collaborate. Infrastructure as code allows you to use familiar code techniques, code-oriented techniques, to version your infrastructure. In this interview Joe Duffy, co-founder and CEO of Pulumi talks about modern infrastructure as code and the work Pulumi is doing in this space.
