LF Energy Summit Europe 2025 to Spotlight Open Source Innovations Driving the Energy Transition

LF Energy Summit Europe 2025, the event focused on open source solutions for accelerating the global energy transition, will take place September 10-11 in Aachen, Germany. Organized by LF Energy, the foundation dedicated to collaborative open technologies for the energy sector, the summit will bring together grid operators, technology vendors, policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders.

Attendees will explore more than 75 breakout sessions across two days, featuring topics such as OSPOs in grid operations, short-term energy forecasting, digital sovereignty, and resilience.

The summit also includes keynotes from leading utilities and industry giants like Accenture and Hitachi, alongside technical workshops and demos of LF Energy’s 35+ open source projects.
