Natural Language plays a critical role in voice-based interfaces so that when we talk to ‘computers’ the interaction is more natural.

At the VOICE SUMMIT (organized by Modev), we sat down with Jay DeWalt – COO of Arria NLG, a company that specializes in developed natural language generator, to understand the importance of ’natural’ language in voice-enabled interfaces.

“When developing such technologies we also need to keep in mind that we are not perfect, we don’t have a grammar filter when we speak, we need to keep such nuances in mind when developing voice-based interfaces,” said DeWalt.
