Zephyr is a real-time operating system that provides an open-source solution for embedded developers building connected products like wearables, home automation equipment, or industrial equipment. In these cases, you need to turn a microcontroller into a smart brain for your solution but this typically requires lots of software infrastructure. Zephyr helps make this possible by running on top of the microcontrollers. Benjamin Cabé, Developer Advocate at Zephyr Project, shares his 2024 predictions for IoT saying, “Many people talk about security.
