Red Hat has announced the general availability of Red Hat Developer Hub 1.5, introducing new capabilities designed to accelerate adoption and customization of its enterprise-grade internal developer portal.

The latest release includes Adoption Insights, a new analytics dashboard available as a developer preview. This feature provides platform engineers with detailed data on portal usage, helping organizations track adoption, identify areas for improvement, and enhance engagement.

Another key enhancement is the Red Hat Developer Hub Extensions Catalog, also in developer preview. This catalog offers over 60 dynamic plugins, allowing organizations to easily discover and integrate both community and verified plugins. A new dynamic plugin framework further simplifies customization by enabling runtime management of plugins without requiring portal redeployment.

Additionally, Red Hat has introduced RHDH Local, a locally runnable version of Developer Hub. Available in developer preview, RHDH Local allows platform engineers to test and modify portal configurations on their local machines before deploying changes to a production system, improving efficiency and reducing development cycles.

Red Hat Developer Hub 1.5 is now generally available.
