SUSE has announced that it has registered a 14% year-over-year jump in its Q3 revenue amid the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy this quarter.
Further, the company recorded 81% growth in its Cloud ACV (Annual Contract Value) bookings thus marking 14 consecutive quarters of year over year cloud ACV increase.
SUSE registered 35% increase year to date in customer deals worth more than $1 million for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2020 ended July 31. The company also announced 50% jump in ACV bookings year over year for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications.
SUSE strengthened its leadership team in Q3 with executive appointments to support the company’s key growth objectives. These include Chief Financial Officer Andy Myers and Chief Growth Officer Michael A. Riley, along with regional sales leads Jeff Lattomus, president, North America, and Phillip Miltiades, president, Asia Pacific and Japan.
SUSE CEO Melissa Di Donato added that the company plans to further accelerate its growth trajectory with the announcement of a definitive agreement to acquire Rancher Labs. The acquisition is expected to expand SUSE’s portfolio and share in the Kubernetes market.
Noteworthy new customer wins in the quarter include Dell EMC and global measurement and automation technology provider Endress+Hauser.
