Sysdig Introduces Cloud-Scale Prometheus Monitoring Offering

0

Sysdig has introduced cloud monitoring at scale with full Prometheus compatibility. Sysdig is claimed to be the only cloud-scale monitoring solution fully compatible with Prometheus and the PromQL query language.

With this, DevOps teams can retain their investment in existing Prometheus exporters, configurations, alerts, and dashboards. According to the company, the Sysdig platform enhances their existing capabilities with greater scale, visibility, security, troubleshooting, and support.

Additionally, the Sysdig Secure DevOps Platform provides a scalable system that can handle more than 100 million metrics per second, and retain up to 13 months of data.

Sysdig is the monitoring solution for IBM Cloud Platform, one of the largest Prometheus monitoring deployments today. With Sysdig, teams can adopt Prometheus compatible monitoring using an enterprise-ready platform.

These features are available to Sysdig customers now. However, the company will make available Cloud scale at the end of April 2020.

The company also announced PromCat.io, a free repository of curated Prometheus exporters, dashboards, and alerts to monitor any infrastructure, application, and services running in the cloud. Sysdig offers documentation and suggested configurations for PromCat integrations.
