0

In this clip, Yuri Goldfeld, Senior Principal Software Engineer, Akamai and lead developer for Flow-IPC, explains the decision to open source Flow-IPC, a middleware for inter-process communication (IPC). Goldfeld tells us that Flow-IPC was initially developed to split a large application at Akamai without increasing latency but it was designed in a way that it could be applied to various applications.

Goldfeld discusses the decision to open source it to give back to the community. The target audience for Flow-IPC includes system developers and architects, particularly those working in C++.
