Your beloved Angry Birds gameplay, one of the first apps to make mobile gaming mainstream, is now available on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift in Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs.
Mobile games developer Rovio (the one behind the Angry Birds IP) joined hands with Resolution Games in May 2018 to develop the VR title.
“We felt that the IP itself lended extremely well to using your hands,” Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, told Engadget, “being able to intuitively know what to do and have this 3D version of an old classic.”
The VR edition will cost you $15 on the Oculus Store and Viveport ($9 for those who have a Viveport subscription).
The app is currently available on the Oculus Store, Steam, and Viveport. It will soon arrive on other platforms, including PSVR, in the coming months.
