Anodot Launches New Business Unit with AI-Powered Cloud Cost Optimization Tools

Anodot, recently named a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Financial Management (CFM) Tools, has launched a new business unit called Umbrella to deliver enhanced cloud cost management capabilities tailored for managed service providers (MSPs) and complex enterprise environments.

The Umbrella Cloud Cost Management Platform integrates AI and business analytics to give financial leaders transparent visibility into cloud and SaaS spending, helping them improve budgeting and control costs. As part of the launch, Anodot unveiled three key features:

  • Bring Your Own Data (Beta): Users can import platform, SaaS, licensing, and usage data for a full view of cloud expenses to identify optimization opportunities.
  • GreenOps Dashboard: Integrates with GreenPixie to surface AWS carbon emissions and power consumption data directly from the Cost & Usage page.
  • Savings Plan Simulator: Replaces the SP Analyzer, offering simulations across all AWS compute services (EC2, Lambda, Fargate) with multiple purchasing options and enhanced forecasting features.
