Endor Labs Unveils AI-Powered AppSec Platform, Raises $93M to Tackle Modern Code Risks

Endor Labs, an application security company, has announced a major expansion of its AppSec platform, alongside a $93 million Series B funding round led by DFJ Growth. The platform now integrates Agentic AI and a robust security dataset to not only detect but also prioritize and autonomously remediate risks—preventing entire classes of threats from ever reaching production.

The newly enhanced platform targets the growing complexity of software development driven by AI-generated code and “vibe coding.” It features AI agents purpose-built for security, capable of reasoning like developers and security engineers. These agents review code, pinpoint architectural risks, and suggest or apply precise fixes without slowing down developers.

With funding also backed by Salesforce Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Coatue, Dell Technologies Capital, Section 32, and Citi Ventures, Endor Labs aims to solidify its position as the leader in AI-era application security.

Key capabilities launching today include:

  • AI Security Code Review: Multiple AI agents assess every pull request (PR) for critical changes often missed by traditional security tools, including prompt injection risks, authentication changes, new API endpoints, and cryptographic adjustments.
  • MCP Plugin for Cursor: Tailored for real-time AI code security, this plugin integrates with AI-native tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot, flagging vulnerabilities as code is written and enabling near-instant fixes—streamlining what was previously a lengthy and manual process.

CEO and co-founder Varun Badhwar emphasized the shift in software development, noting that while open source once comprised 80% of code, AI-generated code will soon dominate. “We’re not just building wrappers around LLMs—we’ve built the dataset needed to make AI truly useful for AppSec teams,” he said.

Availability: AI Code Security Review will be rolled out to all Endor Labs customers starting in May. Interested parties can see the platform in action or book a meeting at the upcoming RSA Conference via endorlabs.com.
