According to Alex Thornton, Executive Director of LF Energy, Europe is a few years ahead of the US in terms of energy transition. “They tend to have more centralized direction in governance of the data. That’s not to say that the data landscape is perfect, but it’s much easier to access grid and personal meter data in Europe compared to the U.S.,” he explains.

LF Energy is working on introducing this complimentary approach to North American utilities to help accelerate their digital transformation and energy transition.
