StorMagic has appointed Susan Odle as its new chief executive officer and member of the board of directors, effective immediately. Odle, who joined the company in August 2024 as chief growth officer, steps into the CEO role to lead accelerated innovation and expansion as StorMagic enters fiscal year 2026.

The leadership change comes on the heels of StorMagic’s launch of SvHCI, a full-stack hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution positioned as a VMware alternative. The product’s release contributed to a 600% increase in the company’s qualified sales pipeline, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.

As CEO, Odle plans to capitalize on StorMagic’s long-standing industry-leading support ratings, strong product differentiation, and established presence in critical vertical markets. Her focus includes helping customers reduce hardware costs and optimize server fleets amid global tariff volatility and shifting market dynamics.

Prior to joining StorMagic, Odle held leadership roles including founder and CEO of 8020CS, COO of BDO Lixar, and VP of operations at GFI Software and Youi.TV. She was named one of the Top 50 Women in SaaS by The Software Report in 2020.

Danial Beer, who served as CEO for the past four years, will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

“StorMagic’s product reliability and performance, and support ratings are unheard of in the software industry, and this has been consistent for more than fifteen years,” said Susan Odle, CEO, StorMagic. “As CEO, I will harness and align our incredible cross-functional teams to help companies address the financial and operational dilemmas at or near the edge, amplified by Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware.”
