Codefresh, an Octopus Deploy company, has launched GitOps Cloud to simplify and accelerate software promotions securely. GitOps Cloud enables DevOps teams and developers to create promotion flows by connecting multiple Argo CD instances to a single control plane—without requiring additional software.
The platform addresses challenges faced by Argo CD users, who often rely on manual processes and custom scripting for application promotions between environments. With GitOps Cloud, organizations can streamline deployments while maintaining security and efficiency.
“Argo CD is a great tool for syncing changes to clusters but to promote changes from one environment to another, teams still rely on scripts, manual processes, or overburdened CI pipelines. With GitOps Cloud, teams can manage any promotions with a single Kubernetes Custom Resource Definition (CRD),” announced Dan Garfield, Argo Maintainer and VP of Open Source at Octopus Deploy.
GitOps Cloud offers Codefresh’s popular app and environment promotions, multi-cluster Argo control plane, and end-to-end traceability in an easy-to-use package. The solution enables continuous deployment across multiple namespaces, Argo instances, clusters, and applications while keeping all workloads and change management securely on the user’s infrastructure.
Pricing for Codefresh GitOps Cloud starts at $4,170 per year for five runtimes/target clusters and 200 Argo CD applications. Customers purchasing before June 1, 2025, will receive three GitOps training and certification vouchers to upskill teams. The platform provides a zero-trust hosted control plane, consolidating all Argo CD instances into a single dashboard.
“I am extremely excited to introduce Codefresh GitOps Cloud to organizations who are at the beginning of their GitOps journey. With the powerful set of features and accessible pricing, organizations will see a quick return on their investment,” said Paul Stovell, Founder and CEO of Octopus Deploy.
Codefresh has been recognized as a Leader and Fast Mover in the Maturity/Platform Play quadrant of the 2025 GitOps Radar report by GigaOm. The company plans to introduce additional features, including Git-based rollback, later this year.
Organizations requiring more capacity can contact [email protected] for additional runtimes and applications. Codefresh also offers Enterprise Support and Advisory Services for implementing, scaling, and operating Argo.
Public can explore GitOps Cloud’s new features at KubeCon Europe, scheduled for April 1-4, 2025, in London, UK, or sign up for a 45-day free trial at codefresh.io.
